A Comment from an MBA Friend: "My first experience with the association came in 1997 when Jack Ramage called me to help him plan for the building boom the MBA saw coming. At that point the market was just healing from a recession and the Plan B projects were not assured, yet Jack and the MBA's Board were concerned about a shortage of skilled labor if everything hit within a couple of years - which it did. It impressed me enormously that these folks were thinking beyond their own businesses. I guess that's still what impresses me the most. The MBA is comprised of 30 individual regular member companies, most of whom compete fiercely with one another and yet the company owners give generously of their time and cooperate surprisingly well to advance the industry." by Jeff Burd Publisher BreakingGround Magazine
